1. How do I add thumbnail images to articles? Login to wordpress admin area and edit any post, once there scroll down until you see the custom fields box. In the ‘Key’ field, type ‘Thumbnail’ without the quotation marks. Then in the Value field print the URL to the image.
After that Click Add Custom Field, or just save your post instead.
If you need a place to upload your thumbnails, or other images, check out Image :: Planet. Use the direct Linking code and paste that into the ‘Value’ field.
1a. Why is there a ‘broken image’ showing up in my post lists? You need to specify the post image URL, as detailed above. Each post should have a thumbnail image associated with it.
2. How do i limit the links displayed in the top menu and the footer? You can exclude links (pages) from being displayed in the top menu and the footer by going to your blog administration -> Design -> Exclude Top Links. Check ONLY the links you want EXCLUDED from these menus.
3. How do I add a ‘polls archive’ to my page? 1. Go to ‘WP-Admin -> Write -> Page’. 2. Type any title you like in the post’s title area. 3. After typing the title, WordPress will generate the permalink to the page. You will see an ‘Edit’ link just beside the permalink. 4. Click ‘Edit’ and type in ‘pollsarchive’ in the text field (without the quotes) and click ‘Save’. 5. Type ‘[ page_polls ]‘ in the post’s content area (without the quotes or spaces). 6. Click ‘Publish’.

4a: How do I change the default ‘look’ for my Ratings? You may change how your rating image looks by going into your site administration -> Ratings -> Ratings Options menu. There are currently a number of ‘looks’ for the Ratings Widget available in there. IF you change the way this looks, please keep in mind that you must click the ‘Update Individual Rating Text/Value Display in order to view the appropriate options and text for the new rating
4b: How do I remove the text under the Ratings You may remove this text by clearing out ALL fields in the Individual Rating Text/Value area, then pressing Save Changes.
