MarketPlace and CoolWater

Since I got busy yesterday and didn’t have the time to do a theme for yesterday, I did two today. Marketplace and CoolWater are now converted and ready to use for our blogging system.

The theme currently showing in the theme demo site is MarketPlace. All other themes have a demo ’screenshot’ in your blog admin area.

BluePigment

Let there be Plugins!

So, today brings not only a theme, but lots of plugins to boot!

I’ve imported all of the OLD plugins (all I can import, sorry guys), and added some cool new ones to the system as well. All in all, right around 40-50 plugins, with 133 templates (when I’m done editing them all for what I want).

If the goal is to bring this place to a decent level of blogging, with massive themes, additions, and plugins, I’d say we’re well on the way to being there.

Keep checking back for more updates. Custom plugins , custom themes, what more could you ask for, really!

72 Class

The 72 Class theme is a very minimal black and white theme which has been converted for use with the Unrestricted Minds platform. As with all other themes, a demo may be seen at our demo site .

I’m in the process of finding and installing a ‘theme switcher’ for WPMU so you can demo the older themes, but still haven’t found anything yet. Bear with me while I continue the search. If you know of any such beast, please, let me know via comment or whathaveyou.

Introducing Almost Spring

The theme for today is ‘Almost Spring’. This is a beautiful, simplistic green theme, modified with the necessary tools to work with Unrestricted Minds blogs.

Welcome Back

As you can see, we’ve undertaken some rather enormous changes to the way Unrestricted Minds looks, feels, and acts. This isn’t anything major, in fact it’s all for the better of the system.

Unfortunately, because of these changes, ALL blogs had to be reset (yes, even our own). We don’t mind you recreating them, as long as the blog doesn’t violate our terms of service , in fact, we encourage creation.

With the update comes a new , standardized theme for all blogs. Over the next few weeks, we will add more and more themes to the system, with the goal being one theme every day. While we know that’s a bit slow, we’re also doing a LOT of work to these themes, from plugin work to actually gettting them updated to work with widgets and ads. Bear with us, we think you’ll see it’s 100% worth the effort!

We apologize if your blog was taken down in this massive change, but the change was most necessary. Expect great things over the next few weeks and months!

The goal of Unrestricted Minds is to provide an excellent, quality, safe place for individuals to blog, with a variety of themes, plugins, and addons.

Initially, we’ll start with one single theme for all users, and will be updating and adding (or trying to) 1 theme ever day. As time progresses, we’ll keep this category updated with the latest themes we’ve assimilated (errm upgraded) for work with the WordPress platform we’re using here.

Please do keep in mind that these things take time. We may NOT get to one theme every day, because there may just be things keeping us from doing so, but we’ll do everything in our power to add at least one theme every day for your use.

And We’re Back!

After a couple days of downtime, I’m proud to announce that Unrestricted Minds has returned from hiatus with a bold new look, more features (and more planned), and a lot of flat out good looking stuff.

Bear with me, over the next few days as I re-add things to the system that were there before (plugins and themes). Unfortunately, accounts and blogs will have to be recreated, but this should be the ONLY time you ever have to do that. I don’t anticipating doing this EVER again, because the past few days have been literally nightmarish, what with getting this thing working and all.

Anyways, enjoy the new site, the new theme, the new plugins. Look for more themes to be added daily (at least that’s the goal!).
